The Grenada Football Association

The Grenada Football Association Inc. (GFA) is a private organization of an associative nature, incorporate pursuant to the Companies Act 1994 of Grenada, Act No. 35 of 1994, and registered in St. George’s, Grenada; with its Head Office at the Grenada National Stadium, St. George’s.

 

The GFA is constituted of clubs playing association football in accordance with the Laws of the Game as promulgated by the International Football Association Board, and of associations which are formed of clubs and/or teams playing association football in accordance with the Laws of the Game as promulgated by the International Football Association Board, and both of which conduct their affairs in accordance with the relevant provisions of its Statute and with those other relevant rules, bye-laws and regulations which the Council of the Grenada F.A. may approve from time to time, as well as in accordance with the relevant rules, bye-laws and regulations of those international football associations or federations of which the Grenada Football Association may be a member as well as in accordance with the directives and decisions of the competent authorities of the Grenada F.A. and of those international football associations and federations of which the Grenada Football Association may be a member.

 

The GFA is formed for an unlimited period and is a member of  Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and Caribbean Football Union (CFU). Accordingly the GFA is itself obliged to respect the Statutes, Regulations, Instructions, Directives and Decisions of FIFA (FIFA Rules), CONCACAF and CFU, and to ensure that these are likewise respected by its members.
