Grenada versus Guyana at National Stadium from 7.00pm

In just under two hours, Grenada’s Spice Boyz will be taking to the pitch to take on the might of
Guyana’s Jaguars.

Coach Anthony Modeste following his recent retirement as an active player will get his first taste of
coaching as the official Senior Men’s team.

Modeste told GFA Sports Desk, he is ready to take on the Guyanese who have qualified for the third
round of the Preliminaries of the FIFA 2014 World Cup to be hosted in Brazil.

The Guyanese who arrived on the island yesterday had a work out at the Grenada National Cricket
Stadium yesterday and they would be looking to redeem themselves on tour having lost their two
previous matches against Trinidad, 3-1 and St. Vincent, 1-0.

The Spice Boyz will be fielding a new look team and many of the players are anxious to make their
impression on the Coaching staff.

One such player rearing for an opportunity will be Shevon John Brown of Hard Rock, a fourteen
year old whom many believe has a shot at a professional career.

The Spice Boyz will be captained by Shane Rennie, who has been elevated to the role since the
retirement of Coach Modeste.

Guyana is currently 92nd while Grenada is ranked 132nd in the FIFA Coca Cola ranking.

Grenada’s starting XI for the game today is as follows.

Goalkeeper: Desmond Noel,

Defenders: Marc Marshall, Michael Mark, Kareem Joseph, Cassim Langaigne

Strikers:  Marcus Julien, Rickel Augustine

Substitutes: Shimmel Louison, Kimron Redhead, Kade Wellington, Joel Greenidge, Shevon John,
