VACANCY - MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

The Grenada Football Association (GFA) has an opening for an experienced Marketing and Communications Officer. The officer will develop and maintain a branding strategy for the GFA; produce relevant marketing materials and organise media events. A competitive pay package is negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall Marketing & Branding

• Manage the GFA’s brand.
• Work with the General Secretary to coordinate GFA’s public image.
• Coordinate with GFA affiliates regarding their activities.
• Work closely with contacts in media industry to build awareness of the GFA.
• Devise programmes and creative strategies for marketing & branding the GFA.

Creation of Marketing Materials

• Assist with the updating and maintenance of GFA's website.
• Produce a quarterly e-newsletter for the GFA’s network members.
• Create and distribute press releases as needed.

Event Management

• Work with the Marketing Committee and General Secretary to organise GFA's Annual General Meeting.
• Plan periodic events with GFA's network members in collaboration with the General Secretary.
• Organise press conferences and other creative media events.

Requirements:

• At least 3-4 years of prior relevant work experience in Marketing and Communications/Public Relations (prior experience will be an asset).
• A first degree will also be an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship, business and economic development.
• Superior interpersonal relations, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative, flexible and able to balance multiple priorities.
• Strong computer software proficiency (Word, Power Point).
